Is Kalavantin Durg suitable for beginners?

No — this is rated Hard due to the near-vertical rock-cut staircase section. Basic fitness and a head for heights are essential. We recommend doing an Easy or Moderate Sahyadri trek first.

What shoes should I wear?

Sturdy trekking shoes or trail runners with grip soles are mandatory. Sandals and flat-soled shoes are not permitted for safety reasons.

Is it safe?

Yes — with proper footwear and our experienced guides, Kalavantin is safe. We maintain a strict turnaround policy if weather deteriorates. Children under 12 and individuals with vertigo are not recommended.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full refund if cancelled 15+ days before. 50% refund 7–14 days before. No refund under 7 days, but credit valid for 6 months.
