Frequently Asked Questions

Is Chandratal worth it?

Chandratal at sunset is one of the most extraordinary natural sights in India — mirror-still turquoise water surrounded by barren high-altitude desert. Absolutely worth it.

How are the river crossings?

Multiple crossings through glacial streams, some knee-deep. Trekking poles are essential. All crossings are guided and assessed for safety.

Is 5 days too short?

No — Hampta Pass is designed for 5 days. It's intense but manageable, with maximum scenery packed per day.
